Kelly is a lover of humor in all of its forms. She is a humor writer, standup comedian, podcaster, actor, and screenwriter.

She has lived in Los Angeles for 16 years and spent 10 of them on the dating apps. She fancies herself a cross between Carrie Bradshaw and Bridget Jones.

She is best known for her twice-monthly dating column For Love Or Peanut Butter, a feature published on Slackjaw Humor that ran the duration of 2021. It began with her sharing some of her weirdest dates (dude obsessed with rocks, the first time she got ghosted, an actual catfish), and the wisdom she gained from trudging through the virtual swamp of online dating (deleting the apps, learning it's okay to have needs).

But then she fell in love, and For Love Or Peanut Butter evolved into more of a "How I Met Your Mother" type adventure, introducing readers to four different suitors she dated before figuring out which one was right for her.

The column has been revived in 2024 and consists of a combination of stories from her current relationship and throwback editions to the bad dates she endured during her decade of singledom.

After placing in Slackjaw's 2020 Humor Writing Competition with David Attenborough Presents: A Drunken Thirty-Something Female Coming Home Alone (again), Kelly turned it into a series of adventures following the single thirty-something female.
